A freak tidal wave destroyed Poporing Island earlier today. It happened without warning, and came seemingly out of nowhere. Now, the island has almost completely sunk beneath the waves, and is no longer inhabitable.

Lucretia, Queen of Faeheim, once responsible for sending a group of porings to live in Poporing Island, sent a group of rescue workers to save as many porings as possible. She has told The Midgard Times they will be relocated in the coming months.
