I don't feel like re-reading this thread to review the reasons, but I believe the only reason the range was enlarged was because people felt it was too small. Wasn't it?
Ok. Asura takes too long to cast if I don't have dex. Let's halve it's cast time. Also, I find it annoying that EDP only lasts 1 minute. It should be more like 10 minutes. SG hurts too much, it should only do 25% of damage to other player, that way I won't die from it.
Pandora's so going to hate me making a point this way, but really, it's not that different from the sight / ruwach changed. It's a selfish change just because one may find some of the class designs "difficult." But I don't think that merits tampering with the game mechanics to solve it. That's just being lazy and disrupting the balance of power in the class system.
What class have you always played the most, Cat? And What did Ben play on this server? Hmmmm.
Regardless though, I doubt further debate is going to make a difference. If there was really good consideration for change by now, it would have been mentioned by now. Gather up 100 players and let them type till they're blue in the cuticles, my bet is that this is going to stay broken.
