mage levelling advice needed

Be it PvM or PvP or WoE, any caster needs all of their skill points. Namin? despises soul strike with fiery passion, and will never get it if it is not a pre-reg for safety wall. Soul Strike is seriously very limiting in uses, as there are only so many monsters that soul strike can handle... really cannot use soul strike except for giant party where most of the monsters are killed too quickly and sir wants to contribute to the 10% exp boost by hitting the monster with something fast- only then does Namin? ever consider soul strike.

If sir really has only 1 dex, then by that time firebolt 10 should be far more than enough to kill geographer at great speed... If int is above 80, then 4 firebolt10 sounds very bizarre...

GH Prison is a decent alternative to level there using firewall and firebolt, but rather dangerous now that firewall has been changed and is incapable of stalling for as long as it did back then in the previous svn (especially for 1 dex). Geographers really offer the great safety that one can never die in that map regardless of how slow the spells are, and geographers are part of combos which make them very worthwhile in comparison to GH Prison cards...

Really consider staying at geographers. Geographers are by far much easier than GH can, and offer more job exp than injustice and zombie prisoner. If sir must insist on leaving geographer because they are simply "inferior" (Namin? strongly suggest against until wizard or sage) then rather try for stings than GH Prison. GH Prison's overall exp is actually lower than geographer's 13k anyway, not to mention the typings there are very horrible... at least at stings, it's all firewall and firebolt away, and the difference in exp actually makes the huge increase in difficulty worthy.



Just out of curiosity... is sir speaking about soul strike from the perspective how half of the mages in "some other server" seem to level "very quickly" even though they don't do anything but soul strike everything in payon dungeon, orc dungeon and GH prison...? heh...
