Patcher problem?

When I try to open the new self-patcher today, I get an error that says "Patch list parse error (expected non-zero patch number), around "GIF89aE"". I've been able to play before, even with the self-patcher. I wonder what is going on? I tried from two different places to access the Internet (school and home), and one of my schoolmates who also plays heRO also had the same problem earlier today...
