I tend to be more drawn to playing female characters than males. Female characters tend to be cuter and have nicer clothing, hair, and accessories. Plus, I'm a female in real life, and I kind of view my character as a representation of myself in the games I play. It's hard for me to start a game as a male character and feel any sort of connection to it.

I've never really had a big problem with in-game perverts hitting on me. I mean, it's happened, but from what I've seen over the years, all genders are at risk. I've played other games where my guy friends playing guy characters were hit on by other guys (playing both male and female characters) all the time.
