RE: (OoC) Basic Rules/Standards?
Namin?, typically RP rules are established such that you must be active in the RP, which typically means no more than 2 days pass before a responsive post is made unless you specify otherwise that you'll be away for a while, in which case you leave your character to idle someplace that requires them not to interact with anyone or anything during their LOA (leave of absence). it isn't that difficult to grasp, but most RPs flow pretty rapidly and you need to be on top of reading the RP quite often, but don't expect a response seconds or minutes after you post. like i said, typically a 2-day waiting period is what is acceptable, after which the RP will continue without that character and is managed around it as such because sometimes circumstances come up that extend beyond that grace period. i don't actually RP because i know i'd forget to check or do one of the aforementioned "no-no's" in RP'ing, but i know a lot about the format of good RPs as i was once a moderator of a gaming/rp forums.
