Anyway, I'll play along, and give a proper response that in character Aaronock would make. I chose to not write a book at you and write descriptions between the dialogue bits. It feels a bit empty, but I know how most people are and the response would require a tldr; comment at the end.

Certainly, I've had my share of battles...

And joyfully purchased various Fae trinkets over the years as well. I cherish all those items, along with my circle of friends.

My true goal is always to strive for a more harmonic world. The only constant we have on our planet seems to be battles and war, a pity. However, peace and change never came by idle hands... I'll do what it takes to bring about the better world I've envisioned.
