RE: Change max level to 100

i think limitations have their own appeals, thus i chose this server over others also because it didn't change the original max lvls...

without proper boundaries you forget the fun of trying harder...

RE: Change max level to 100

If you hate??the 99 aura that much, there's always the /aura command. It makes ALL auras, monsters, other players, your homonculus, yours all invisible to you, however others can still see it.

Often times with things like that, the GM's have to modify stuff like forging/brewing rates, attack speeds and casting times to maintain balance. This sucks for lower levels, Slower attack speeds to keep everyone and their mom from getting max aspeed easily, if they're even bothering to sell potions with all the fish out there (those'd need to be nerfed more too) they'd be higher priced, weapons would probably be flowing out of the armpits of smiths (White smith refines might have to have the preset formulas for their skill altered to cope with higher job level), dex's effect on casting speeds would be altered because 150 dex would be too easily accessible for instant cast.

And it'd be way too easy to build classes, it wouldn't take as much planning and attention to detail to fit in skills that wouldn't normally be accessible in a particular build. And reset prices would probably get another cost spike as well.

RE: Change max level to 100

Mr. Oka, he was only referring to base level and not job level as there is only one class that can reach job level 99 and that is super novice, but every class can reach base level 99, so there would not be a need for recalculating how aspd/brewing/forging/etc worked because the amount of job levels is not changing, just getting one more base level and about 12points of stats to work with, which at that level isn't that much anyway, or would at least be such a negligible difference that it would go unnoticed.

i'm not saying it should be raised to base 100, but your argument is just flawed as it has very little to do with the original request.
