RO Gravity Error

Ok, It's been about 3 monthes since the last time i tried to come to this server. But it seems the problem still hasn't resolved. I've done read all other related posts, and tried all other attempts to clear the error, but it seems i'm still getting the sakray error (Job: Novice).
This time, i'm asking you, the gm's, to help out. I've been wanting to play this server for quite awhile, and would hate to just give up.

OS: XP 2005
>I downloaded the latest full installer, and the june 2008 heRO.exe, it didn't work, nor did the heRO.exe from one of the gm's post work.

Fates asks this, Have you tried deleating all your rag folders.

Then doing a full reinstall of sak, rag and heRO. Then update.
Fates finds that having past servers in a folder can do major damage.

Are you getting this error from both the patcher and the client or just the patcher?

If it has the class: novice at the bottom I have yet to find the true cause of the issue.

Many people have suggested the following and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't:

Stuff to do before install:

make sure directx is up to date
make sure all video/sound/etc... drivers are up to date

after that's done:

Remove RO via the add/remove programs or the uninstall program. Install a clean up to date version of kRO's sakray.
Get the require dll pack or install kRO's main data to get the required dll's needed.
Patch both kRO and sakray BEFORE installing any server.
Run Setup.exe and make sure all the settings are correct and that the right graphics stuff is chosen.
Then install a server.
Patch said server.
Try to play.

I had a friend who recently had this problem with another server and I walked him through every possible combination of fixes even gave him multiple clients each hexed differently in attempts for different results but they all gave him this error. I told him to keep trying to uninstall/reinstall. After two attempts of uninstalling/reinstalling the problem fixed itself o_o

You're not the only one with this error, but so far it solved by most people after trying a few things. Usually it has to do with sakray not being updated enough.

Can you run setup.exe and verify that the options are ok, post a screenshot if unsure.

Haha, thanks to GM_Loki, i somehow got the server to work simply by using RMS's kRO Full with the mini-installer.

Edit: New problem, there isn't any sounds or background music. I added a BGM folder with the bg's, but still no sound, or in game battle sounds.

Okay we got it to work. I tried an idea that i got and it worked. I decided i would post what i did.

First: Uninstall heRO (if its installed)
Second: Go to Start > Run > Type in "regedit"
In the box on the left, Uncompile HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Then uncompile Software
Then scroll down, and look for any folders named: Gravity, Gravity Soft, Ragnarok, RO, etc, etc.

If you see any, delete them. (Note: If you have other servers installed this could harm their ability to run.)

Install heRO, update, try to play.
