Don\\\'t know why I waited till now to report this but here!
Last Wednesday, during woe. We recalled behind prontera emperium.
So, I immediately *attempted* to equip my daggers to break emp.??After doing so I went upto the emp and I started hitting and I saw the one-dagger animation, not the dual wield and I SWORE I equipped both of them.
I opened my equip window and sure enough only ice pick was equipped. I then figured I just noobed and only equipped one so I opened equip inventory to equip the other and it wasn\\\'t there. I freaked and thought maybe I dropped it while equipping due to the intense amount of lag. I started panicking and moving my mouse all over the ground. It was no where to be found ):
And this is the WEIRD part I re-logged and the dagger was equipped. Not in my inventory, it was actually equipped.
This has never happened to me before on any server. But on Wednesday I had also never experienced that much lag...xD. Maybe they are connected D:? I just would really like that to never happen again lol. Losing gear=SOB.
This can happen for equips, skills in the skill bar, and things of that nature. It's caused when packets from the server that tell your client if you have such and such equipped or in your inventory/skillbar etc get interrupted and never make it. This will often occur during horrible horrible lag or if you're purposely filtering packets.
Rin was complaining the entire time in vent how her gear kept randomly dropping D: We couldn't figure out a precise cause and stuff unequipped when she even switched to her sin. Thankfully stuff mainly kept to "unequipping" and her inventory ended up only being dropped once.
I've never had this problem and it sounds rather crazy >_>
According to Rin at the time, her equipment literally dropped to the ground and had to pick it all up. I wasn't in the same area at the time unfortunately. I can only assume it was a whack event and a one time occurrence o_o; It was also mentioned she didn't lose anything from it, all of her gear managed to get picked up apparently.
