Umbala level 4A weapons

I cant seem to start the sabbath quest.

Ive done the umbala language quest. i've gotten all the items needed.
i have them ON me - not in the cart

the NPC in question is in map "um_in 156_77" He says something on the lines of "you have no business with this old man, go continue exploring"

He doesn't ask me for any items nor does he respond to me holding all the items.

Someone told me it might be cuz i started a diff quest in umbala or niffle. which i dont think i have as i havent talked to any other npc's.

if anyone can point out if i've done anything wrong or missed something, it would be greatly appreciated.

In last case you can transfert your items on another char and redo the quest. Could resolve the "I'm not sure if I started another quest" problem.

Ugh, means i have to gather all the stuff for the language quest again -_-

yea, the lvl 4 weapons quests won't alow you to start another one on the same char until the current one is completed

yea, but all i've done tho is talk to some kid who wanted meat. (he's outside the leaders house)

so im gonna try on my only other char who can do it. >_>

EDIT: ok so apparently i can do it on my sin. so my BSmith must have done SOMETHING with an NPC at some point that I've forgotten.
