anybody experience not being able to chat in vent while the hero window is up?

I'm using windowed mode, not fullscreen, but my hotkey is left ctrl, and trying to click it while in hero is not working

edit: tried changing my hotkey to alt, but didn't do the job

I use these same settings, even the PTT key, and have no problems.

sorta defeats the purpose of chatting while grinding if hero won't allow input to be recognized past it.....

I don't have problems with that, I used to use Ctrl too, but I play on fullscreen. Try to hotkey the middle mouse button, it's the best imo.

I suggest following what Kohaku says. The middle mouse button is what I've been using and it works great.
