Cursed Water?

Why is cursed water a lower drop rate on HeRO then on Iro?

Hero -> 6%
IRO-> 10%

That's a pretty lame reason. HeRO implements the Toh wings (most ridiculously overpowered armor in the game) because you know, that's not hax. But severely undercuts the drop rate of ...cursed water?

I'd personally like to hear the GM logic on nerfing Cursed water drop rates, because I can't figure it out.

By the way, was it always this way? Way back toward the beginning of the server, I don't remember it being that low.

it was always that low when we had false angel in the game before the sign quest in order to get the violin4 out early, so we reduced its drop rate since that is the sole source of cursed water. When we did svn update, we copy/pasted false angel's custom drop (false angel wing) and didn't re-add in the new ones, thus why no carrot whip either

During the begining of the server there was no gefenia, so no cursed water.??

Then there was the custum lvl 4 of the geffen dunjon, got opened a little, then closed because it was judged too hax with 4 mvp.??

Then the level 4 got reopened, with the arrival of the cursed/blessed helm quest, people needed helms[1] and violins[4].??Cursed water drop was lowered because people weren't used to that item and judged it being too strong and unbalanced.??

Further we got the sign quest and the real geffenia, and the drop rate remained the same, but people are able to make themself cursed waters for a price.??

Main reason why the drop rate is low is because of the geffen level 4 donjon presence; it would be an easy source of cursed waters for people who don't do the sign quest (wich is an hard/long quest).??

People weren't used to it? Huh? I often used cursed water when I broke with my LK back then. I don't know what everyone else was doing for emp breaking...

Even still, sounds like a silly thing to nerf it because people yell hax. Imagine if everything that got accused of being "hax" was nerfed. Anyone remember the great "nerf frenzy" thread?

Anyway, since it is -past- reasoning, is it to be assumed that this is intended to be fixed in the future?

yea I hope it is going to be fixed.

But your souvenirs of using it in the past probably are from before the closing geffen 4 (wich is a non-official map)

I'll ask Pandora about it, but if we do restore violy and false angel's cursed water drop back to 30%, I'm quite for taking them out of Geffen 4 so they're from sign quest exclusively though. If they are found outside of this long and challenging quest, I'll rather keep them lowered
