I have 4 holes. -> Where you place both arms, your head and your torso.

I can be of any color. -> Self-explanatory.

Most people (if not everyone) have at least one of me. -> Who doesnt have a shirt?

I'm usually considered useful, somestimes more. -> It's useful, it can also be fashionable.

Some people use me to vehicle their messages. -> Some people wear t-shirts with messages on them.

I'm sold in a lot of stores, from fancy to cheap. -> Self-explanatory.
