So yeah i m here to suggest something which will make game play smooth and easy. Well the server from which i have came had @whereis command so it was easy to just type,for eg. "@whereis poring" and it listed the maps where porings summoned and in ?%. Its pain in ass to keep searching on rms again and again for where a specific monster spawns. So please we need @whereis command here if possible. What you guyz say? Reply on this topic and yeah i dunno if it was suggested before so dont get mad at me please.

it's not a script that needs to be written, to get that command working we'd need to change the source code.

actually panda doesn't even touch the source code if she doesn't have to. she probably wouldn't really approve either as going to RMS to look up something isn't all that hard, and besides heroes aren't lazy heroes tough things out, they put forth all their effort into something.

A few answers to your suggestion.

Yes, it is that hard to add a command.
Pandora is a SHE not a HE.
It is not as easy as just adding in a few lines of coding and making it all work. And if you "know" that Pandora can do it, you would also be aware that Pandora doesn't do much when it comes to the coding of customs.

And, yes we are not GM's, but the GM has spoken and has said that to do what you want they would have to change the source code, which from previous attempts and suggestions is something that many older members of heRO know is something that they do not like doing. We might not be GM's, but we can at least tell you what the responses of suggestions like this have been in the past from the exact same GM's that you are currently asking a response from.

Whenever a GM mentions source code, you should imply that it means something very delicate and fragile and hard to code unless you are some sorta computer science nerd

What he said. RMS is easy to keep open and much easier to use, imo. I got used to it.

alt tabbing to RMS really, really won't kill you.

so is doing a minor bit of researches to achieve your goal, and if either of these 2 don't appeal to you, then that's where the community kicks in. Ask on main for what map the monster of interest is in, and someone will tell you (and someone will also tell you to try looking at RMS too)
