According to the first sentence. there's no level limit.
According to rest of the entire article, there's definitely a level limit.
I personally am not against the concept of repeatable exp quest, but am against THESE repeatable exp quests. Why oh why did they decide to choose the popular monster drops (bacillus from sleeper map, anolians skin from anolian, huge leaf from leaf cat, sharp leaf from mavka) just to make the current grinding location even more crowded and even less reasons to get out of the current spots >.>; Instead of using this opportunity to balance out maps with bad exp, we only made the difference in amount of exp we get between the 'good maps' and the 'bad maps' worse.
One main point against exp quests though is that we have resetter, so you don't need to rely on quests to train up smiths and chemists who are to forge/brew.
So in conclusion, my personal stance is that if we're making repeatable quests, can we have our own repeatable quest instead of some of these crappy iRO ones >>;
As for the idea of repeatable exp quest itself being in heRO or not, it's not up to me but pandora for it ;

RE: repeatable exp quest
I agree with Ayu, I'd prefer custom exp repeat quests.
If a level limit is implemented with them, it should be somewhat higher as trans. Like 80 normal, 85 trans. Given the exp is a lot higher, you need a lot more exp 85-99 trans than 80-99 non-trans.

RE: repeatable exp quest
When iRO added them, a lot of people complained, saying that the quests made it too easy to level. When somebody on iRO Valk becomes transed in two weeks, there's a problem.
As well as the fact that it would make things too easy, this would make it easier for bots to crowd the maps just to get the items needed. When bots level off of monsters to get 50 items, they can give the items to their owner and use the 50 items to level, too. This would be DOUBLE-BAAAAAAD, as the bot owner would be killing two birds with one stone and adding more weight to their cheating.
This would be almost inevitable, too; I'm not just throwing out rare possibilities.. When I was on iRO Valk for maybe two weeks, I checked out PecoPecos, which was a spot to get the Beaks. When I started, they had maybe 40 people on that map, but they were all real people. Two weeks later, they had a LOT more people on the map, but mainly they were bots. There were so many bots it made it impossible to actually find a Pecopeco that wasn't taken. It was very bad.
I checked out the other spots, just to see if they were crowded too, and-holy crap. Yeah.
Bad, bad idea. Seriously.

If added, they should only be up to level 50 only or something for the noobs that wish to use it. I left iRO because of stupid crap like this and I would hate to see HeRO go down the same pathetic path. It's been said over and over again, RO is about the grind, if you want quests, go to WoW. >.>
This post is all hate and no reasons. Unless you count WoW = Quests. RO = Grind as a good reason.

You seem to forget heRO has around 340 players at peak time, while iRO has 7000, and that heRO is 99% if not 100% Bot Free.

iRO Valk had about 1k people at the time, and if anything iRO has more advanced bot-blocking techniques than private servers. Bots will most likely always find a way around blocks that aren't human. If adding this feature will mean that GMs will have to work more to prevent botting, then doesn't it seem like a bad feature to add? Or is it just me who thinks that?
Do the GMs approve of having to possibly add more GMs because of the strange rise in botting? I know the people who suck up to GMs approve of it, because kekeke they want to be GMs, but I personally don't think that's the way to go. If you joined a low-rate just so that you can level quickly, I think you have to learn what the rates mean.
Haven't you ever wondered why no other official servers implemented the quests? Or why you never hear of private servers implementing it, except for a few that never last?
If my reason is not good enough for you guys, then I don't know what reason would be good enough. If you guys want, just ignore the fate that it gave other servers, and in the process have a chance of killing this server.

I say we try it out for a month or two, see if it works or is a disaster, if it's the latter, we disable them and the problem is solved. At least we'd be able to say we've tried it.
Quests =! level quickly.
Maybe implement a time limit, like not more than once a day, and with reasonable exp (not 2 million for 50 anolian skins for example). And yeah, on maps without people currently.

1K = 3 times our population.
And Ha! Bot checking on Valk? Valk is a horrible horrible bot farm, its just unfair to take Valk server as an example to anything, as Gravity doesn't give 2 shits about it; its just their free trial made into a server.
And i never said i wanted level faster than before, its been suggested for repeatable exp quest items to be obtained in alternative grinding areas as opposed to places that already give insane exp.

I was including the other servers in my evaluation, too, namely Sakray and Loki. And trust me, I botted on iRO too (this was a long while ago, so don't ban me on here lmao) and the people who make and support the bot programs are on top of things. It took them maybe a few days to get it to work on iRO Valk, and they always update it when RO's software changes to block bots. They know their crap. Saying that heRO will stay bot free is like saying that once America pulls out of Iraq, terrorism will end. It's wrong, because (radical Muslims / radical bot-users) will always plague (the world / RO)
And the EXP quests will make people level faster. There's no getting around that. Your idea of obtaining them in alternative spots is already what iRO does. I don't know about you guys, but I've never leveled efficiently in Peco Pecos.
Also, I have to bring up again that the only servers that have something like this aren't around any more, and people complain about iRO's EXP quests a lot. I thought that would mean something, but I guess not.

RE: repeatable exp quest
Don't blame iRO's incompetency in math, prediction, and foresight on the concept of repeatable exp quests.
Let's look at one iRO quests: sharp leaf quest
les (our mavka) drops it at 20% on iRO. Les gives 1521 exp on iRO (using 1x rate cause 1.25 is too annoying.) Exp per item for valk is 4,697.1. For simplicity, I will assume that 20% means you get one sharp leaf every 5 les, even though that's technically not proper statistic calculation. So that means, including the quest exp, each les is giving me 939.42 extra, boosting it to 2460.42 exp each. That is what... 38% exp increase?
When you got BAD QUESTS like that, why would you NOT bot on these monsters?
That's why, I said that I don't mind repeatable exp quests, but I DEFINITELY mind the iRO ones because they are horrible in design. Don't blame the concept for all the wrong that happened on iRO, but blame the bad numbers that the iRO GM team chose to use.
So I talked with GM-Pandora for some 'official' answer from the head herself. She said:
1) Definitely NO GO on iRO repeatable quests
2) Pandora: "I have thought of repeatable exp quest before in the form of 'TTT' quests, "Tuesday Through Thursday." Instead of just item collection, players may be asked to do 3 minor, similar tasks such as item collection + talking with NPC once eacy day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. So it's not too much more complicated, but players have to do it within these 3 days and the progress doesn't carry over to next week (so you have to do it 3 days in a row or restart from beginning next week.) That way it's not super repeatable if you horde items like iRO, but you can do it pretty quickly once every week per character for some exp. It'll be like a small scale monster exterminator quest. That's not very high on the priority and this is only a rough sketch. We'll start working on it in 2020 give or take a few years/decades."
