Whenever I remember Godanna, a certain move pop up in the mind: Heart Breaker.
Why? Whenever I hear that name, it remind me of a another move, Royal Heart Breaker

It did, SRW K, although the animation wasnt really spectacular in that game

SRW animation doesnt hav to be spectacular i usually just skip the battle animation anyway =/.......Gurren lagann was incredibly underpowered in that game it shud be llike insta kill anytime u bring it out >.>

Gurren Lagann is an excellently done shonen anime.

If you liked the shonen-style Gurren Lagann was set in, try the non-mecha Hajime no Ippo, gave me the same 'OH YEAH! FIGHT! YOU CAN DO IT' moods as Gurren Lagann did =p

LOL, to be serious there's a reason once the system allowed it, minutes long battle animation almost immediately came to exist in SRW. Battle animation make up 1/3 of what make SRW successful (the rest is 1/3 customization-dream team of SRW fan and 1/3 good story)
