Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder

I have the entire Artemis Fowl series too. Good read, those.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is quite bad so far, well it's 90% of the original book, if you liked it is good still, but in the 10% that the guy changed there's a ton of spelling mistakes, you'd think he revised it XD the general idea of zombies is funny but gets old kinda fast, I'll still finish it just to see what happens.

If you like something that makes you think... I'd suggest 'Til We Have Faces' by CS Lewis. My favorite book in the world. Icon_smile

Or Charles de Lint if you like 'modern' fantasy stuff... I'm afraid my reading genres are pretty stunted to offer suggestings in action/mystery/so on genres... :/

I love Wizards First Rule :O I'm currently in the middle of the 4th book in that series (Sword of Truth series) its good ^_^

For anyone that enjoys magic/mythical creatures, PUNS, or just awesome writing in general, I would highly recommend the Xanth series by Piers Anthony (First book is called a spell for chameleon) its greatness! also worth checking out...the carpet makers by andreas eschbach (german scifi) and mother ocean, daughter sea by diana marcellas (3 book series about elemental dragons and witches, more geared towards female readers) :D
