not quad client, but i'll say that each player in HeRO has an average of 4 venders (taking into account those wal-marts. 7-11, etc for those who actually have only one...)

actually the easiest way to see an acurate player outside of venders is to take all the different people in the cp, remove everyone who is a bs, merc, or alch, then add about 20 because thats how many bs, merc, and alch are likely actually playing at the time.

okay i went ahead and did it now,

with 322 people online, i removed all the: merchant, blacksmith, whitesmith, alchemist, and creator jobs.

that leaves 120 people online. add about 20 to tghat of those classes that may be playing (theres no way to know for sure.) we average about 140 players at this time.

that may not seem like very good, but if you think about it, there are always active parties, main is always active with chatting, prontera is 50% of the time active in chatting, and you can go to most leveling spots without it being overly crowded as if we had a server with a population of 5x what we have now.

plus the last event i went to had 40 participants. now i bet you don't know al 40 of those people. and in a semi smaller server like this, you at least have a chance to shine.

The last time I played on this server it only needed about a hundred more people to be perfect. That way you never run out of people to talk to no matter what time it is, but you also have some privacy if you want to go hunting alone. If we've gotten and retained a hundred people in the last year and a half then I think we're good.
