heRO won't work?

My firewall allows heRO, and the patch'll load up just fine. But when I click on the insta-load application, or when I press start on the patcher it says it's loading, but it won't show up. My screen acts like it does as if it were to load, but then it just shuts itself down for no reason on the spot. I truely don't know what the heck is going on. c.c

I'm tempted to say you need to open some ports for hero to be able to communicate thru your firewall. But! I am not sure so hopefully someone who's had this problem can help out ^_^

It's really lame, I get the little screen that shows up before it turns on fullscreen and then out of nowhere something on my computer is like "LULZEFFYEW" and it shuts down. It was working just fine a few days ago. ;;

Did anything change? is the the firewall new? did you check the settings on the firewall?

Oh that I had one day to. A reinstall fixes that most of the time.

Perhaps it's not the firewall? At least, did the firewall come with a new/updated malware control program? If so, maybe HeRO isn't on the "allowed applications" list?

What all have you done on/to your computer since the last time you couldplay?

What does your setup say? Maybe something changed in there. Like when this happened to me, there was no graphics activated. That gould be an issue with your graphic card.

My graphics work just fine, heRO is on my allowed list for my firewall, and my setup is just fine. ):

And the only thing I can think of that happened since I was able to play is that my windows update ran, but I don't think that did anything to my ability to play RO.
