"3rd Class in heRO?" FAQ

Buff yourself then buff others if you remember to. When the game tells you that your own buff runs out, it's the time to rebuff everyone else ^_^;

naturally recast Suffra after that character casts a spell...

as for impo, recast anytime you have time between healing/pneuma/sw... take note of the after cast delay...

and it's OK to tell your party to stop for a general rebuff every 300s (or even less depending on how dire the situation is)... my bard's been with enough nameless parties to experience all sorts of characters/players and i have to agree with what Galt said... i kinda appreciate more priests who tell the party to slow down rather than the ones who just stay silent and watch the situation get out of hand...

Really? In most cases where I've been in PUGs, the parties usually almost always end up killing themselves, with no intervention from me.

And then I bragi-cast ME, kill the 4 freakin' necros that ninja'd them all in one Thunderstorm, and then proceed to resurrect the party.

And then they yell at me for buffs.

If anything, if they died, 99% of the time, it's because they did something stupid.

I know how u feel Galt... Sometimes parties are just fail because of A LOT of things...like..tanking wizards, luring bards, and more...and actually that doesn't happen only in nameless...It actually can happen in any party..
What I usually do if I get into situations like that (party doing something stupid) is I try to heal as fast as I can.. And if I think I wouldn't be able to keep the party 'healthy' I'll just tell them to RUN and try to keep MYSELF alive...
I know, most of the time I ended up leaving my party dead while I teleport around...

As I think someone suggested in another thread, there could be an NPC that could change your sprite to 3rd job so everyone can see.

Well, it would be cool, but I'm not entirely sure how well that would work out.

For a monk class where their agi and blessing are at two totally different levels, when one buff ends it doesnt really help predict the other

Also, my inc agi and critical explosion always seem to end at the worst times -_-; (I doubt crit splody has a timer in Renewal though)

Edit: Also, +1 to Galt's thing about that idea with the sprite change quests. Like most suggestions on the heRO forums, it would be really really cool but probably not viable in the near future

And I had a crazy thought: A little quest that changes the apperance of the sprite to a third class while keeping the abilities of the class already.

But sadly, reality slapped me back by letting me realize just how hard it'd be to pull off.

A: New World has nothing to do with renewal. iRO has it now as well, and you don't see them having 3rd class at the same time as New World.

A: A map again, has nothing to do with renewal. Even when the monsters are added, we can easily customize them for our current uses without the renewal system.

Q: So will we get third class. Just a yes, or no.
A: Out of those 2 options, "no" is closer. Again, we'll consider it only when Gravity gets a clue to what they are doing. After that, we'll consider if eA is doing it as well. If neither doesn't know what's going on or doesn't allow the technological feasibility of it, then it's not happening.

Q: What are you talking about. RMS has it. Add it pls.
A: RMS is a database. It's not a place to consider how to add it, if it's balanced to add it, or anything else. RMS reports what's happening in the world of RO. That's it. What RMS say has nothing to do with how heRO works. RMS is a resource site, not the holy grail.

Q: Can we add 3rd classes without renewal then if it's just renewal that's causing problems?
A: No, we will not even consider for a second of 3rd classes without renewal. Renewal is the center and heart of balance for 3rd classes. Having 3rd classes without renewal is like legalizing cheating.

Q: 3rd classes! ZOMG we will have a wipe!
A: 3rd classes is just like any other update, only that it affects player classes. Since when did update result in a wipe for heRO ever? heRO is NOT having a wipe, so don't worry as we will not consider that at all.

Q: So can we have 3rd classes? When?
