Monster Hunter is a 3rd person action game featuring tons of different weapons and monsters that you must hunt, many of the fights can be VERY difficult (think Demon Souls) so you must prepare/strategize properly, and preferably use the best weapon (though any weapon can beat any boss, certain ones can be more suitable for certain monsters).

I'm gonna buy it in a few hours today!
I've played Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on PSP and gotten to G Rank 9 solo(thats the final rank, though I didnt get Ukanlos), and I can finally play it multiplayer now on Wii~

If anyone has it lets hook up and do some epic hunting together :D

Yeah I got 210 hrs of logged playtime on MHFU, probably a lot more if I had saved when I got destroyed lol.

So far on MH3, I'm playing with Aisu and we're getting close to high rank stuff =p
