The Newbie Shop :3

i was thinking of making a non-benefit shop for the newcomers / low level communitie of heRO, this shop will consist of the following

Awakening Potion
Concentration Potion
Butterfly Wings
Fly Wings
Trout-50z

all of these items will be sold for max discount (besides the trout it will be 50z) if wanted, i can add other items aswell. If possible i would like people to NOT take all the trout in there and just npc them.

Will be adding shop once i get enough feedback .....

Suggestions? Ideas? Random stuff? tell me!

Not sure why this really needs to be voted on... if you want to make this shop, go ahead and set it up, while advertise on Main once in awhile. Do it only if you will enjoy it~ Don't make it a chore for yourself.

Hey, i'm already doing that, well, sort of but not completely the same...

I vend in Payon when i'm not playing, the white and yellow potions i sell are at 20% off. Too many competitors on the wings so i skipped that. Occasional cheap elemental stones or gills for arrow craft. I'm sure some players had seen it a few time, but noone buys any of those potions from me. I do but rarely sell a few Blue Potions at 6k if i found any blue herbs to make.

Anyway, it's a good idea. You can go ahead and do it for some new comers. But be warned, i'd calculated my profit, and the 2% income tax is there, so i don't think selling tools at 24% off is a good idea for you. Unless, you really don't mind losing money.

I remember reading about it and yes there is income tax, just read through this, http://www.pandoraonline.net/heRO_wiki/i...nformation, it's really not 2%, but 2.1%.

I first realised this when i first started vending. I set the poring card at 400k, but the next time i logged in after it's sold, i only gain 392k. I can clearly see that because i only have less than 1k when i first started vending. I calculated on it and it's 2%! That's why the stuff i vend tend to have strange combinations at the last few digit depending on the main price i set so that i can pay for the tax and not lose money.

If you really don't want to lose money and help newbies at the same time, vend at 22% off. You won't lose or gain money and you'll achieve your initial goal.
