Also, I'm watching GARO and Princess Tutu with SomethingAwful.??At first glance they are typical toku and magical girl shows respectively, but little details belie their outward appearance.

Just watched/finished Neon Genesis Evangelion

Watched the original FMA a year or two ago and decided not to start brotherhood until it is finished so im not left hanging with an episode week after week. Though does Brotherhood tell a good enough story on its own or should i rewatch the original FMA before starting it?

FMA Brotherhood's story is different from the original anime's. It sticks more to the plot of the manga than anything else. IMO, the storyline throughout the series has been far better than the original FMA's was.

There's only two episodes left in the series now though.
