Big news! I'd like to announce the (re-)opening of Aldebaran castle on Sunday may 6th!

However, we decided to make this castle a little different from the 3 others. This castle will only allow first and second jobs, both normal and baby + super novice.

Are allowed:
Novice, baby novice, super novice and super baby.
Swordsman, Mage, Acolyte, Archer, Merchant, thief, and baby of same classes.
Knight, Crusader, Wizard, Sage, Priest, Monk, Hunter, Bard, Dancer, Blackmisth, Alchemist, Assassin, Rogue and baby of same classes.

That means, no reborn classes can enter, no new jobs (taekwon, star gladiator, soul linker or ninja/gunsligner).

The warp at the entrance of the castle will take care of letting in / keeping out classes that are allowed or not. Of course, the use of recall skill to get trans/new classes inside is forbidden!

I thought of making a baby-only castle as well, but I feel we do not yet have enough baby guild or baby player that woe to justify a castle only for them, if we eventually have more I'll consider it (in which case baby would no longer be permitted in the no-trans castle)

I think this should be a good news to newcomer or casual players, and it does not take anything away from veteran or hardcore levelers. ^_^

As a special event, GMs might be defending on sunday, with second jobs, 99 stats and normal equips (no GM clip), if we cant make it then castle is up for grabs!

Reopening of aldebaran castle is today, don't forget! And the GM team will be there to defend it, expect a challege!

Me and my buddy mjolnir and meginjard will be waiting for you all, along with GM-Chocolate and maybe GM-Hermes and GM-Auron! ^_^

GMs be level 99, with 99 all stats, No GM clip, but every other equip is allowed.

The Geffen Castle will be closed effective in today's WoE, Mar 25th. This will reduce heRO's WoE down to 2 trans castle of Prontera and Payon, with the retro castle of Aldebaran.

Update 2009/11/29 -

A message from Pandora, the following changes to WoE take effect on 2009/12/06:

- Sunday Regular WoE changes from its 2 hour duration (2 to 4 PM*) to 1 hour duration (2 to 3 PM*), Wednesday time unchanged.
- The Retro WoE will from now on be from 4 to 5 PM* on Sunday only
- The Retro castle will have the following formula for economy: [Eco/6 +2] with a cap of 60
- The skill Guild Recall is no longer allowed in the Retro castle
- Upon entering the Retro castle the following skills will be dispelled: All Links, Wind Walk, Kaite, Kaizel, Kaahi, Kaupe, Assumptio and Mind breaker.
- All fish are disabled in GVG maps (which includes all WoE castles and the GVG type PVP room)
- Payon Flag moved closer to the main NPCs
- All flags inside a castle are now silent (wont display a text anymore)

* All times written above are in Server Time EST GMT-5.

WoE Castle rotation procedure change:

From now on the castle rotation will all be done at once, on a date determined by the GM team instead of the previous procedure where the castle owner decided individually. Such a date will be announced at least 1 week (2 WoEs) in advance, and all castle will be changed to a different one. We'll try to provide this rotation approximately every 6 months. Aldebaran castles will always be a retro castle, while the others will always be trans castle.

Changed castle will retain their owner and eco, therefor since all guild dungeons are available and chests are randomized the only thing that this affects is the castle layout.

The next castle rotation will be the first WoE of 2010, thus Sunday January 3rd
