isnt it that when you leave a penny it mean you usually tip but you find the service so bad that you leave just one penny?

Icon_questionI don't know.. the way I understood this question is either you tip or not tip with one penny. From what I think tipping with a penny is worse than if you don't tip. If you don't tip, people won't think you as cheap (i.e. fast food restaurants) as compared to real restaurants and services. Icon_confused

The way I see it is that if you don't tip then MAYBE you forgot
But if you give a penny then YOU REMEMBERED to give it
Therefore you are saying it was crap service or something
Which would be insulting to the waiter/waitress
