ROtion - Character Simulator. Like RMS's, but better.

So what's this ROtion ?

ROtion is like the RMS Character Simulator. It allows you to build from almost scratch characters and more. There's a few differences however.

ROtion is completely offline, so even if your internet connection goes wacky, ROtion will still work.

Where's the source then ?

ROtion takes the necessary files from GRFs. It can read multiple GRF to create characters.

Why didn't you talk about it before ?

I just recently notified that ROtion went to freeware. Before it, there would always be a watermark on top of your scene, big enough to alter any colors that was on it.

This program was made by DeniZka. I only made this thread to make it more popular, as it's a nice tool you can use.

ROtion is really great, and quite easy in use. But there's something I cannot find in heRO data- the custom hairstyles Have you found it?
There are such a big possibilities to make a cool signature or animated avatar

Sadly, I never found a way to get heRO's hairstyles information from the GRF. I have no idea why though.

Hmm. My antivirus program alarms at the download in the thread and I can't find that program anywhere else (aka, googling ROtion doesn't help).

Program is fine, checked it few times with my anti.
Maybe yours is a bit oversensitive

I've downloaded both, 1st one is free-ware, for the 2nd one you need to donate before using it =)

my best guess to add the custon hero hairstyles might be using a different tool to make .bmp's of them and place them into ROtion like that? (haven't tried it yet) i could find the custom gears and everything from HeRO but sadly not the hairstyles (which is weird cause with a different sprite tool i can find and edit them into bmp's D

biggest prob most likely will be that you will have to recolor hair yourself and maybe cut out the background?

i'll test some when i have time~
