How many characters do you play regularly?

I have a LOT of characters (I basically made one of every class), but I only really play them depending on what sounds fun. The only ones I play on a regular basis are Gypsy, Sage, Monk, Alchemist, and usually a fifth depending on what sounds fun at the time (currently wizard.) I like being able to change characters so the game has some more variation than if you play one character exclusively. Only problem with that is that you won't be able to specialize in a single class as easily.

My main is the gypsy, but I'm trying out other classes. Still, it's not that easy switching mains. They're a bit easier to play, and most parties with friends/guildmates will have you play your original main if that's what people are used to you playing as.

i have 10-12 characters, the merchant, and super baby i dont lvl anymore. on is my secret oc/dc/ sell my stuff one main character, the other is my original one i made before making fabre.

i have 3 mains, fabre WS, fabre Knight LK, fabre felix SL
the other 7 i am lvling and working on every day i play, they are all lvl 88-95. it gets expencive to gear and lvl and reset that many but its worth it.
i picked rogue,knight,ws,????instead of sin,sader,and alchemist.
also i do have a lvl 55 archer, no gear or i would lvl it too.
and this is just my main account, i have 2 other accounts and cant even tellyou whats on them.

99 Professor (Support)
9x Paladin (Shield/Sacrifice - I reset when I'm bored with one)
9x Stalker (Dagger)
8x LK (I don't even remember what he does)
9x Crusader (Grand Cross)
9x Hunter
9x Priest
9x Wizard
9x Assassin
8x Blacksmith (Fishing!)

I play them all fairly regularly to avoid boredom (and to avoid farming AD). Well, I used to play them regularly. Due to time constraints I'm actually rarely online anymore.

On top of that I have an account with 12 SG/TKs. They'll all be SGs eventually, but I was lazy about it.

I also have an account with several 8x characters that I rarely play - it's my account for "weird" or "ineffective" builds. I also have another account for "joke" characters. I have a melee wizard, a perma-novice, and a few others on it.

I have every trans character minus a gypsys but i have a 99 dancer ready to trans anytime i want. Several Sinx (1 vit for woe, 1 SBK for partying and a hybrid agi/vit for hunting), 2 champ and 2 HP.

The only character that i dont play is my stalker, cause i mainly used it to hunt stuff and reset it to that particular build (like wool scarf and luna skillet) but i stopped hunting stuff. My creator also pretty much getting dust and so does my LK.

Ideally,??I like to??be somewhat??efficient in my hunting.??Some classes perform better in certain situations than others. Thus being said, I have almost ALL of the classes available at my disposal (some of those classes are repeated due to multiple builds and not wanting to reset them when I get them to 90+).

Usually, I play priest most of the time.??But I've gone to wiz, to bard, to gypsy to stalker to??LK, to pally to??Super Novice to Soul Linker to Sniper to ME Priest, to Battle Priest to FS Priest and repeat that list a few gazillion times, and you have what class I play.??


I do how ever hate playing sins and Spirit monks/champs. Highly doubtful you'll ever find me on those classes.

(Yes, I have 3 Priest, well, technically, I have 2 High Priests, and 1 High Aco atm, but that's soon to be 3 HP)

Wow, im suprised you guys play so many characters. when i was newbie @ RO, everyone was on my case for having 9 characters,granted 3 were name reserves slash joke characters, but you guys seem AOK playing even more than that!

I guess the number of serious characters increases the longer you play? interesting!

@ joe: well i do agree, sins/sinx and monks/champs are boring as hell. I have always been interested in seeing how effective friendship of the sun,moon, and stars would be. Imagine, a guild filled with like 35% combo monks, 35% agi glads, and 30% support classes! they all get into one big party and go WoE or something. that'd be nuts. they'd be snapping and FSKing everywhere, and going all tekken on their ass!

realisticly though, i dont think it would happen. there would proboubly be curb-stomping galore. it just looks cool in my mind. ah well, we all have dreams, right?

+1 what joe said... some chars/builds are better for specific purposes, but i have yet to devote the time needed to make an alt to farm tidals...
