Using simple shapes and matching colours helped. The font you used if I recall is called grotesk or maybe acid and it is actually pretty good to use in almost anything. Others might think differently about your siggy but overall I would say it's pretty nice.

One advise I can say would be that sometimes the forum colour affects the signature so usually those that make signatures in terms of hero's forum usually use colours near red, orange and brown but that's only in my opinion.
