Resistances> Actual Defense in most cases, even in PvM!
This becomes even more important when BG Weps do not do more damage through resistances, but through actual defense.

92% demi-human resist is too good, I don't know why people are even justifying that its okay for ANY class to be able to reach such ridiculous numbers for resist. I guess in the future if this does happen I'm gunna build my SL to tank Bio3 MvP's with that huge resist. With devo on and Kaupe spamming, it should be pretty viable indeed. *-*

But you know, its not broken or anything.

Elements, do you know anything about RO mechanics?

92% demi human resist applies when statused meaning you will tank an asura even when sced or frozen so please, don't even dare compare these unbalanced accessories to gr.

Gr actually needs alot of armor switching to be used correctly and even then, a gr user can be killed if you outplay his armor switch with status use.

Also, a gr doesn't make you tank an incan+meg sonic blow. If you want to add those belts, they should be god items, not BG rewards.

I think its ok to talk about a damage of arround 25k here, which ends up to be 5250 dmg. Obviously Asura strike wont be a skill to worry about for linkers with such a low, not spammable damage. However, asura never has been such a bad skill for linkers anyway, considering kaupe covers up a hit, and asura is pretty predictable.

Lets leave it with these two skills for now. you see, linker are still pretty killable. Of course its not as easy as before, but suprise guys, good gear makes you tanky!

Now, of course you could say, you could always switch to a GR, to further reduce the incoming AD dmg, youll lose 7% demi human resistance, due to the armor swtich, and youll be freezable again due to losing the set bonus of the glorious amory.

So, no idea whats there to complain about -just yet- According to the numbers, a soullinker could still be killable with one of these accesoires. Neither will they become lhz3 tanking machines (under devotion), because not every mobb down there is of demi human race. (certain mobbs are demons, actually)

Saying one of these accessoires is too much is ridiculous. Good gear makes your good/tanky. hallelujah.

Okay, I think it's time for me to step in.

How about you learn about RO mechanics before you try to argues something? AD isn't only reduced by WoE but also by the fact that it is used against a player (halved damage). So your 6300 suddenly becomes 3150. And suddenly you need 4 ADs. To kill ONE soullinker. Hand that guy an errende ebece carded accessory and he'll just laugh at you. 3k from an AD isn't much.

... An Asura with 25k dmg in WoE? Double that. But even then with 79 % reduction you survive. Without Kaupe. Hey, you need about two champs now to kill ONE soullinker. Retarded? Yes. You shouldn't be surviving Asura easily as a quite low HP class without GR *and* without Kaupe.

The point is that soullinkers due to their skills are already a pretty good surviving class (magic reflect, Kaupe). There is no need to make them tankier reulting in them surviving the stuff that was killing them before. How about we also put in an accessory that gives pneuma as active skill to every class?

Edit: Oh, what I forgot. Of course some of the mobs in lhz3 are demon. But Aaronock talked about tanking the MvPs which are all demihuman as well as their mobs. Lhz3 MvP Soullinker Tank, here we come. Yes, sure.

It's funny that you have 0 idea how mechanics work+you try to make it sound normal an extended class would tank as much if not more then a paladin even with your horrible interpretation of mechanics....

The goal of the bg set is to compensate for the bg weapons. Right now, the SL bg items combined together would outclass the weapons by FAR. Hell, you'd be outclassing a card like Incantation Samurai with that crap.

Can the script be changed to actually increase defense when battling a Demi-Human? Not resist like Thara Frog, but actually just buff defense when against Demi-Humans?

While we're on the topic of broken things... why don't we nerf AD and EDP? /hmm.

If anything broke woe it was those two. Since trans classes were introduced, woe has been completely broken Icon_sad. I miss being able to tank an entire precast on a crusader like in non-trans--when woe wasn't broken. We've been playing with broken woe for years Icon_sad.
