Whitesmith BG Weapons

Since I didnt get any feedback from anyone when I posted on the BG thread. I'm wondering what people would think of boosting Whitesmith's BG Weapon to give more attack as opposed to demi human damage. Anyone who knows anything about Whitesmiths is that they cant benefit much from a weapon like that and it seems unfair that many classes get such a boost from BG items but Whitesmiths are left with nothing other than a good Blacksmith weapon. I also noticed that a large number of Whitesmiths do BG and it would be a shame for all their work put into BG to be put to waste.

More so looking for a GM to respond to see if they have considered this but any feedback would be cool too.

Aren't the BG Swords and Maces usable by smiths? :x

Kinda funny those are gunna be better for smiths than the axes. I wouldn't mind the buff considering that those axes are two handed which means no shield in WoE when you CT around with that on.

Nah glorious clear is one handed and even if Whitesmiths could equip swords and maces they still would be useless when it comes to CT damage.

Does the pierce defense not help =/?

Why get 20% defense pierce when you can get 100 more attack from a quad zipper bear orcish. If I wanted defense pierce I would just use a combat knife.

So use the quad zip bear or the CK and use your BG points on armor/accessories. Done and done.

Merchant medal of honor is pretty hax anyways. If you get your weapons buffed because they'd suit CT better, then I'd ask that some of the less awesome medals be buffed as well.

The problem is, some characters get a damage boost and defense pierce in one (sinx weapon is going to be complained about in a month of its release as people were saying it was OP in the first place)and all whitesmiths get are a half assed combat knife.

If the merchant medal of honor is any comparison to how Maximum Over Thrust works then Whitesmiths don't even get a damage boost from them anyways. 10% aspd boost? Its pretty much the same as a Horn of the Buffalo combo.

I think the medal and amor are crazy enough for ws. Coz ct just made ws much more better than some other class

The medals allow WS to reach 182 or 183 ASPD for CT with no investment in AGI. The on-attack curse chance is also better than most others.
