i agree with your notion about still having to farm a bit. And it's true i haven't BGed in a bit.
But the reason i've proposed that number is to account for "break-even" average players. For top tier players the returns are many-fold even with the "break-even" number. Thing is, i fear that if we start with a high number, we could adversely affect the server - it is better to offer a "low" or "medium" reward and gauge the demand for it rather than having to reduce or remove it completely in the event of some abuse etc.
My point is: by starting out in a prudent manner, we would be lowering risks of abuse etc as well as allowing us time to analyze the demand and adjust accordingly
And yes, i agree with webs, gemstones, edps, etc too.
IF anything, we could even give out the items in their final forms (read: EDP and bomb bottles) rather than giving out the mats so that it fits better with the players' BCR (having the risk of failure removed)
