What Class/Build for ToH?

As the title says, my goal is to be able to get 70 points as often as possible. Should I make a sniper with max dex and 183 aspd and some vit, or maybe str?

Sniper's the most common. It's also the class I'm least??experienced with.

I've found well geared and stocked swordies tend to do well.??Agi spear pally does well enough in the monster and item trials to get 70 points, and failing that,??trivia usually gets me up there before mass battle.??For LK's,??I'd reccomend having a vit build with Quicken on it. Spears are??nice, but??being able to get 190 aspd from just berserk pot, quicken and berserk itself is nice.??Agi is useless in zerk,??since flee is halved.

I've also liked linkers in ToH. 99 it and??your esma will be as cheap and powerful as it will ever be. Kahii will help keep you alive, and with Kaizel, you have a minimum of 2 tries per each round in monster trial. Warm wind gives you most of the elements you will ever need. I'd recommend using a Phen since, even though it's fast cast, you do tend to get hit, and estin, estun and Esma are all interuptable.


there's no guarantee any of these will net you 70 points, there's a chance the GM's will pull a dick move and toss a boss monster (with a smart AI) out there with Pneuma or Wall of fog for your sniper to kill, a Monster that's Incredibly painful that has hellishly high def, or mdef in the monster trials. Item trial's always random which items it wants, but the monsters stay pretty true to form, it's your loss if you can't gather them here. PVP is the most random of them all.

afaik snipers the most common bc it has good versatility and quite high chances at a very low invest, oab with mainly steel arrows and a ghost quiver takes you through most mobs and is good at item trial.

if your starting invest is higher id say ws has the best odds tho,you got a good overall weapon to start (giganto axe) and huge weight for customized equips/consumables and youll oneshot everything at item trial.

my guts say do whatever you like,but if you really wanna go that max efficiency route id say,versatility > all , and bring joker clip for item

win at trivia with awesome smarts
get all the wings

Anyways, i can also add a creator (they run through most monster like butter), but may have problems if you're going to do item and there will be 100500 items from thana.

LK and WS are the best class to be honest. Get a lord knight with a vet sword, mantis rings, and 120 str with vit and your almost always guaranteed 40-50 points in monster. When I did LK last time I got 50 monster and 50 item. Its a great tank and spear/sword builds work great.

Actually, having thought about it more I wouldn't be able to do ToH anyway, my wireless button turns itself off every 10 minutes. Thanks for all the replies though.
