The maps inside the Abbey on nameless island are treated like an inside city map where the view is zoomed in and restricted. Since this seems to have only changed after a recent update, I'm hoping this was not intentional and can be fixed. Is that so?
This has been reported and we are looking into the situation.
Personally I'm unsure if this is going to remain how it is or go back to being adjustable. Nameless when originally released by Gravity wasn't adjustable, if I remember correctly...
Thor's been doing the same thing. There's a fix you can download for it if you search google (not sure if I'm allowed to link it; just search for "ragnarok nameless camera fix" and it should be one of the first things to pop up; it's a text file that you drop into your game's "data" folder). It doesn't allow you to double click to reset the camera angles, but it DOES at least let you fix it manually and zoom out normally.
If it IS supposed to be zoomed in like that, I have to question the sanity of whoever designed it that way. @__@ How are you supposed to accomplish anything when your party members take up the entire visible area?
Err didn't mean to point fingers or make accusations. Thought I stated it broad enough that it should be something the GM's should consider as well, for when they make their decision ;x
MonkeyPunch: Sorry for misreading you, then, and if I came off as snappish. That wasn't my intention, either.
Ellie: Erk, that's disappointing that it's official. But yeah, that thread's from 2008, so something definitely happened to "correct" it between then and 2012, and now it's reverted back for some reason. Weird.
Could always fix it and call it part of the server's "custom content"...? idk
Just don't go fiddling with it on your own client, because yay, rule breaking.
Doesn't even need to be labelled "custom content". More like general "quality of life". :X
