Evo didn't post a guide. He only posted an image file that had a map of the Item Hunt trial (i.e., where the NPCs are) and a list of the synthesis recipes.

Namine's guide is great if you're still unfamiliar with ToH, but since it's more of a general guide, you might want to find someone who uses the same class you plan to use to see if they have any extra pointers/tips.

Well, i've read Namine's guide for ToH. Such a great one it is, thanks a thousand times to her for such a huge and welldone work. I took a lot of notes of tips on equips and tactics from it. But still i'm kind of curious about item gathering trial. That would be awesome if someone of experienced players could make a map with markers on NPC location and info about loot and which monsters drop them.
Or maybe someone knows where Evo's item gathering trial map is located.

I made a spreadsheet for myself with color scheme for the monsters with sprites, what items they drop and a map with if you need x amount of (for example) Black Armor how many items do you need to make that at what location XD

I have no idea how to share it public though (made it in google docs).

Here is the image i use for the locations of the items, however its not so useful imo without the rest of the document since you don't know the colors of the monsters but i guess i could write that out:

Brown = Bapho
Yellow = Drake
Light Blue = Garm
Dark Blue = Thana
Green = Turtle Gen
Deep Pink = Tao
Soft Pink = Basco

None of Ifrit's drops are needed in any of the synthesized items
