I dream of the warmth shared
from the inside to the outside and back anew.
I dream of the walls having fallen,
leaving nothing between me and you.
I dream of my mind exposed
in front of you without shame or dread
I dream of the world fading,
of being each other's world instead.
I dream of the sweet chains of what was,
remembering what could have been
I dream of pulling on the chains,
pulling their other end towards me
I dream of the sweet chains of what was,
binding me to what was not to be
I dream of shattering the chains,
and seeking chains of what will be.
I dream of dreaming again,
with past being future after all
I dream of dreaming again,
with past being a picture on the wall.
