So~ Just wondering who is on the side that pineapple is awesome on pizza and who is on the side that adding it is taboo to pizza. Had an epic discussion with my friends on it after going to a pizza place..

Sorry, had a brand new job today, and first day was a 12 hour one and I wasn't anywhere near a computer with internet access (that I could use) to see your post with.
Personally, I like the fruity flavor that it adds. I can do without it, but a Supreme Pizza with some pineapple makes me a very happy Joe.
On the other hand, I hear that some people think you haven't truly had Pizza until you have one with Anchovies. I'm hesitant about grabbing a pizza with them thrown on since if I didn't like it, I'd have to either pick them off or eat the whole pie alone q.q
As long as it is edible (meaning you can keep it in your stomach until it passes out the other side), I feel there's very little that can actually ruin a Pizza. I mean, you can burn it until you can't even chew it, you can let it sit until the entire thing is covered with that white moldy fuzz (that'd be an insult to Pizza's everywhere tho!)... hmmm How else....

Pineapple is one of the few toppings I actually get on pizza. I'm generally a plain cheese type of person. Pepperoni, sometimes. And ham-and-pineapple is my other one.
This one restaurant I used to go to when I was at high school had the ham/pineapple one - and also a variant with peach slices instead of pineapple. It was delicious.
