Actualy, you can go ahead and play RO2 from an American ip you just need to get past the Account creation.... Just do this Go here and follow the steps to make your keyboard type like a Korean one

I tryed it and its really fun everything is great only thing i dident like was that i had to use my Korean to English dictionary every 5 seconds Lol..... Go check it out its really fun.

A few people I know have played RO2, they said that it was a major letdown, and that RO was better. They say the tried to make it like World of Warcraft, so I guess if you like that you'll like RO2. But I personally don't like WoW. I'll still try it though, to at least say, ya I tried it.

What is cool about ragnarok online is the 2d papers graphics with 3d animations. 2d is way better for observing a battlefield and make strategies.

From what I saw ragnarok online 2 will be a another lame 3d mmorpg with nothing original or special.

Coun't me out for ro2. Ill stay with ro1.

RO2 Private servers already exist as well. They aren't ready for big server populations but they are coming along. I have not yet tried it but I do plan to at least give it a shot.

Like I said, if people go into it expecting RO1 in 3D they are going to be dissapointed. I'm not sure about WoW. I've never played it, but I hate how it looks in every way imaginable.

RO2 on the other hand I love the look of. I've played FLYFF for a while now, and that is probably the closest comparison since it was also created by Gravity, and I also heard that it was a kind of test to see if RO2 was a viable idea to invest in.

On that note, I love FLYFF, but rarely play it since I'm more addicted to Ragnarok.

I actually agree with krim for once, all the 3d MMORPG's I've played, haven't been very good. The 2d overhead thing is the best, the MMO's I've played with 2d have been way better than the 3d ones, ya know, like RO =P

And, Salvosa, Flyff was made by gpotato, nowhere does it say Gravity. And flyff was fun for about a week then I got bored, just seemed like a bad 3d RO.

Well, come to think of it, I dont really remember. It's possible flyff got bought out. I seem to remember it being gravity at some point. But if I'm wrong, oh well. xD

I like 3D games, I dont really care about strategy as much as enjoying and exploring an expansive world. It's hard to do that in 2D. At least that's my opinion.

As for flyff, as I said before, RO is better. I'm getting bored of RO right now though so I'll probably play it soon anyway.

The thing i don't like it that you can entirely change class whenever you want. From a Acolyte --> Priest , Priest --> Acolyte is also possible (though they do not have acolyte priest, i'm just using them as a example) So there is no point of other characters now.

I think that the class change this is really dumb too. It would be good if there was a limit to how many times you could change or certain number of skill points, but there isn't, you can just train all of the classes all the way up and have all the skills. From what I've seen that's the way it looks, I could be wrong though. I've watched movies and read some articles, but haven't really gone through and researched everything.
