Nyau, I use female characters - with the occasional male character either because 1) the sprite just looks better of 2) character was inspired from outside sources.

I'm a guy playing as female characters

For a couple of reasons really:

A) I think the sprites look more interesting for females instead of males (for most classes. Not ALL, but most)

B) There are a few female characters I like in anime and I'm not going to just make a male with a female's name..lol, so naturally, I will create a female character with that name :3

And that's about it, honestly. I'm not picking it for any perverted type reason or to get freebies, so don't get the wrong idea

After spending four years on Gaia Online, it doesn't even phase me anymore. People do it and that's pretty much that. Reasons vary from person to person. I don't label them as being perverted or anything like that for doing so. It's their choice, let them do what they want : )

I'm a female and play female characters <_< The female sprites look better anyway.

I agree wholeheartedly with the comment my char is a representation of myself... now if only I can find a bottle of poison and some knives then I can take down Theriault >< (he is world kickboxing champ 3 years in a row fyi also my sensei ^_^)

p.s: playing a female char for free stuff makes it sound like guys are more slutty then girls lol but then again lots is left unsaid ^_~

For my part, i'm a guy playing girls character because I never really enjoyed looking at a guy (character) for hours and hours as I play...

But i must agree, it always depends on the coolness/cuteness of the character...

I choose either some guy that look kickass or any girl

In the end only my male characters ever get high levels, doesn't matter which game.
