Okay.. ._. Some odd error.

Okay, now to be blunt, I have NEVER in my years of playing Ragnarok ever had an issue like this. And it's really starting to frustrate me. I tried having a few friends help me out, but they were as stumped as I am. Anyway, my situation is this.

Okay, so a few days ago my hard drive fried. I got a new one. Long story short, brand new hard drive, brand new, fresh install of Windows XP. So I download Sakray, installed, and patched. I then downloaded the Hero patcher, and installed that too (I even tried the full patch/sakray install, and it gives me the same error). Whenever I try and start up RO (for another server I play on as well) I get an error I've never seen before, and one that won't go away until I go to Task Manager and end heRO.exe, and hit ok again. Basically, it says at the top, Windows XP Setup, and the message tells me to go to my control panel and configure something. Any idea what the hell is wrong? x_x I haven't found any answers yet, and it's really belligerent. Here's a screenshot of exactly what I'm talking about.

did you run setup.exe first to make sure it had your system components correctly chosen?

Also, make sure all your drivers are up to date and that it was installed under the "administrator" user.

I've seen this error before.

Go into your RO folder (whereever your ro files installed, default path is c -> program files -> gravity -> RO), and run setup.exe

This will create the registries necessary to play, you can also set your graphic card and sound options.

I'm 99% sure that will fix your problem

If not, you could always download our full installer, it works pretty well, it's in the download section of this forum.
