no matter what i do i cant get an avatar up. It says the file is to big >.<

The upload limit size is only 10 kb if I remember correctly. Yes, that's waaay small. Instead of uploading from your computer, host the image and use the image url.

Use an image upload service such as Image Shack instead. Upload the image, copy the "Direct link to image" at the bottom of the page, and paste it into your "Upload from URL" option.
