RE: Gravity Error?
Nothing's working!!! I tried no sound version but nope Icon_sad
I just redownloaded everything again, but now my sakray looks like this:

When I run Sakup, I get this for a long time without anything that even hints progress:

Also no matter which sakray I download, they all turn out to be 136kb.. and all the same version. D:

I heard from a friend that I error because my sakray doesn't match with my computer/OS? Icon_confused

RE: Gravity Error?
sakexe.exe is supposed to be 136kbs, mine is. all that is is the frontend patcher for sakray, and nothing more.

again, the valhalla client patcher works well. i can try sending it to you if you want, because i know mine has no virus with it

RE: Gravity Error?
Can I see a new screenshot of your ro folder?

Also, try those 2 links, its the old full folder, you need both files to extract:

Here's a new screenshot (Blacked-out files are files of other ROclients, which don't seem to be working either). My sakexe.exe is as you can see 3.12MB, and I seem to be missing data.grf (if that matters)
And I use WindowsXP

RE: Gravity Error?
missing data.grf doesn't matter, it's useless anyways. Sakray is always more updated than iRO/kRO's data.grf.

This is wrong:

Frogboy Wrote:server_name = heRO Server
notice_url = pandoraonline.net/forum/news-db.php
patch_site = www.pandoraonline.net
patch_port = 80
patch_list = /patches/patchlistTS.txt
patch_folder = /patches/

patch_list should read as follows:

Code:
patch_list = /patches/patchlist.txt

As far as Sakup - In order to make that work you have to MANUALLY download the patches from kRO's ftp.

ftp://ragnarok.nefficient.co.kr/pub/ragnarok/SakPatch/

Then run sakup.

As far as your patch client looking like:

[Image: 2a774no.jpg]

It's because you're missing the PatchClient folder (at least in your last picture). It should patch regardless of if you have any pictures. The question marks should change to a date, if the date is anything older than october 2007 I believe it won't fully patch because kRO only allows so many months to be patched at a time.

In future reference - sakray's update patcher is Sakray.exe (the one that actually has a ragnarok icon). You just double click it and more or less walk away and let it patch. If you come back and see that the far left button is still grey then it's because your connection failed to connect to sakray's ftp via the patcher.

If that happens you can do one of two things:

Close the Patcher window and try to open it again and let it try to connect to the ftp again via the patcher (what this does is refresh the connection attempt)

Or manually download all the patches from the ftp then run sakup. Unfortunately you'll need to know what day your last patch was. To do that open patch2.txt and see what the last date in there was.

My recommendation:

Delete that folder you have in that last picture since it looks like a tornado hit it, reinstall the full installer only, let it patch heRO, then patch Sakray before attempting to play heRO.

Also, from your first post it sounds like you installed the full installer, then installed your own sakray download and then added a heRO patch to it? That's probably what had you messed up from the get go. The full installer is a stand alone installer nothing else needs to be put in the folder before or after.

RE: Gravity Error?
@loki, to my knowledge it isn't wrong, as i have no issues patching with the patchlist as patchlistTS.txt

perhaps either one works?

RE: Gravity Error?
Either one works because I update both at the same time, but really it should be "patch_list = /patches/patchlist.txt"

It was a mistake we made a while back in 1 installer. patchlistTS was the one that was used for testing back then. ^_^; and when making the installer we forgot to change it. So from there on I used a new test list and updated both patchlist and patchlistTS with every new updates, so everyone gets the patch.
