RE: More EXP when in Party?
If people had a problem with EXP, they can join the officials. Or, not level! OR, NOT PARTY!
Seriously, what exactly is there to abuse? More leveling?
If we were hacking stats, skills, auto-hunting, getting overpowered items, getting powerful items too easily, or so on, then I'd actually care.
If you're okay with Wings, then... what? You're a 99/70 and you don't want people to catch up? Or a Hermit that doesn't want other people to benefit from team play.
What's the argument, exactly? It doesn't stack with SG bonus, therefore not as powerful as a pre-existing alternative, and you are crying epic tears? Let's say 40 people are in a party. Somehow, god knows, they are all in the same bracket and not 99! That's +40% EXP "abuse"!
But logically, if we gave a flying f*** about such things, MVP cards would've been removed or changed, but we don't. We don't fight the big wars that actually affect the gameplay by leagues, but treat the unrealistic, and not to mention infinitesimally smaller, "problems" like a World War. Why do things so little make people grit their teeth when they let the big things slide?
Or, is it that everyone is dreaming about having a full set of MVP cards, so no one person wants them removed?
It seems apparent that many players don't want balance; they have ulterior motives.
Like, for example, we've got an Anonymous donator donating $250 (and multiple others donating similarly) to the server. Do you honestly think he donated for the server's good, or so he could "own noobs" better with the money he saved from playing World of Warcraft?
Yes, you can abuse OCAs, OBBs, OVBs. Yes, you can ruin economies and servers alike by donation items like those. Yes, you aren't guilty of selling Lord Kaho's Horns, but you obviously have no problem offering donators something to entice them to pay.
So it's not a perfect world. Let this +exp % bonus slide before I have to argue another easily fought and won point.
(and yes, I still argue for the sake of the large party scenario even with the new +3% JUST announced after I posted)

RE: More EXP when in Party?
it is a great idea, but please just implement it for "even sharing", because gravity only gives bonus exp per party member if ALL the party members HIT the monster. as is often the case with support acolytes/priests, they are support members and don't actually go to the front just to HIT the monster...
i know gravity gives great bonuses for "own share" and good enough for "even share" IF the party members all hit the same monster AT LEAST ONCE, but do you really think that (support) acos and priest should go to the dullahan and try to hit that guy (with 1 str and variable dex) where EVEN IF IT HITS, a support aco usually has wands equipped, thus damage is just silly and neglibile (1 usually)...
so yeah, i believe it is a good idea, but please only for "EVEN SHARE" because with "own share" i guess there is more chance for misuse (such as lvling ppl who are sitting down, etc.)...
