not sure what you mean. if you mean im trying to fool her into restarting thatd be an incorrect assumption since in order to do that youd need to ctrl alt dlt twice not the once i suggested. Once brings up the task manager and tells you what processes are running and how much cpu power and ram its consumeing. At least it does in XP Pro i cant vouch for craptastic Vista.

It can also mean that
1) too much stuff on your HD
2) your HD is dying (What happened to my laptop)
3) malaware is bloating usage under an alias
4) malaware increased the number of processes running enven though it doesn't seem like it
5) Lack of virtual memory

(I am assuming you are running on windows)

Anyways, for starters try defragging your memory, and so some HD maintenance like deletion of old files. If all else fails use ow spec graphics and such and try to save up for an upgrade in the meantime.

Yes, lag lessened a bit although i am more concerned about my CPU usage being extremely high. I think i shall not play RO until i get an upgrade or atleast some maintenance like what Ailieron advised. Icon_sad and Tenshi might be right,my HD is dying... Oh My God im not gonna put it into too much stress for the meantime lol. Thanks though Icon_biggrin

Yes my HD was (is dying) and even on youtube the videos would lag T_T
you can always run a diagnostic on your hd...
However... i don't know how much about computers or if you'd want to do that yourself.

if you're in the 514 area I could take a look at it before my hellish school schedule starts.

hmm well i have 760 something RAM and it works fine, HOWEVER it is quite noticeable that heRO uses more CPU than regular RO.

I believe this is normal because heRO has more custom items etc rite?

Make sure you have space on your hard drive.

Also it may seem silly but clean your desktop, a full desktop can really slow your computer. Shortcuts and folder are ok, but direct files, executables, videos, images, etc. are best stored in folders.

Do run a spyware check and anti-virus.

Try CCleaner also, it's a great tool to free up some stuff that never gets cleaned on windows such as the temporary files.
