Suggestion: Guides
I was wondering if the Administrators could make a seperate section for the guides as they are placed in the Help/Reports section, the guides get pushed down and never seen again because so many people have things to report and need help with other game related subjects.

I really believe that it isn't the best place to have the guides.

This is a suggestion I feel other people will agree with (if they are interested in guides) so please feel free to discuss what you think about it.

RE: Suggestion: Guides
my comment on that is that we already have a somewhat cluttered forums in that we have a long list of sub forums that could probably be reduced in size, that adding one more would just make it all that much of an eyesore, so an alternative could be to either create a separate sub forum in the help sub forum, or the GMs could just make sure to sticky guides so that way they're not pushed down to the bottom, though i think making a sub forum in a sub forum would be a bit better way to go.

RE: Suggestion: Guides
Sticky is probably a good idea, I guess if the GM thinks the guide is useful.

its a bad idea. If were made easy to find it wouldnt fit into the server theme which is to make things ridiculously hard for little gain. It should be a herioc effort to find these things.

RE: Suggestion: Guides
well if we followed that logic mr. cowboys fan =D then there shouldn't even be hints about anything from anyone, just figuring out on your own of everything, then that would be heroic >.>;;

and my only concern with the stickies is that there'd probably be quite a few, namely class specific builds, as there's a number of them for each class, and trans will operate slightly differently from non-trans, so yeah, it would get a bit convoluted, so really a separate sub forums for guides would work out better, though those wouldn't be the only type of guides.

RE: Suggestion: Guides
Not everyone is familiar with Anak's (ShadesOfBlue) particular sense of "humor".

Anyhow, we have a compilation of guide in sticky that should lead to all other guilds even if they buried back a few pages away.

I guess it doesn't have enough emphasis however, we'll think about a possible solution, but I also think we have too many forums as it is.

i know your humor frogboy it is terrible. which is why panda couldnt tell Icon_biggrin (you always throw in some "funny" line which isnt really funny and end it with >.>;; or some variation)

kadar makes a good point i think putting user guides on the wiki would be good Icon_razz
