And we went from 56 reviews down to 53 reviews in one day because old reviews expired again =(

A reminder for old players who once reviewed can delete their old reviews, and rewrite an updated review about what heRO is like now compare to 1 year ago! (You just need to click on your own profile and it'll show all the reviews you've written, so you don't need to dig in all the pages of reviews about heRO server.)

Yes they do, so if you reviewed in a time of the ancient past, you have to delete and re-write a review. This is a new policy by RMS against old servers since it's true how what's good back then may not be so good now. The policy is in effect long time ago, but heRO withstood the changes and remained in top 5 (unlike the original 1-3rd place disappeared from top 10 list.)

They sorta expire, or rather they are still there but with default setting only the last 6 months of reviews are shown and count toward the total.

You can change the setting to view the older reviews still, but by default a user checking out the server would not see them.

Currently we are at number 4 with 52 reviews showing, but the 5th server is really close to us (actually they were ahead of us a few days ago, we just took their place).

That new "6 month" policy was added a few months ago by RMS to help the newer servers, because according to them it was too hard for new servers to catch up to old ones. I was reluctant at first, but it did clean up the ranking a lot of old inactive servers or old server with a previously good reputation surfing on it.

On the day that this change was implemented surprisingly heRO kept the exact same spot, which was number 6 I think, before the change we were old enough with enough reviews to compete with the old servers, but we also had enough recent reviews to keep our spot with the new system, so overall it wasn't a huge impact for us.

Like Ayu said, those who made old reviews, if you wanna update them it would be greatly appreciated ^_^
