Friend's Error

I share an account with a friend of mine and she made a sin named Roxx.
Well, last night she said she entered a portal near the Geffen Tower and got an error. She couldn't log back in her character anymore. Every time she tried she kept getting an error. I guess it's because of that new portal. She tried my characters and they were fine and even made a new one.
So last night same night I was updating the patcher and the sakray and all that junk to enter Moscovia? (I mean she freakin' woke me up! lol) After I did that I tried logging into her character and again I get the same error. I don't want to try any of my characters because that might stink.
I was too tired to deal with anything then so today I tested her character again and I still get a an error.
I've updated everything so I don't know what to do with her anymore.

Both of you sound like you're missing some updates, sakray or hero, I'm not sure.

If you can catch a GM online, they can recall you while you're logging on, that should take you out of the error map. Though you will keep having that error if you don't update.

You lack moscovia. That's a lack of sakray update (heRO patcher problem is mostly for hats and custom monster sprites).

I've already fully updated heRO with no problem.
Sometimes Sakray does give me a problem but that's not all the time.
I've updated it too.

So I'm not sure why I keep getting an error on her only.

We have a thread specifically made to help our players with sakray updating. Did you try out one of the 3 methods listed there?

Since moscovia is official files it's definitely sakray that needs updated.

Like Aki said, whenever you see a GM online, tell them of the problem and asked to be recalled. They'll ask you to log the character that crashes, you'll crash again, but your character will be logged in game for a few seconds, that's long enough for the GM to recall it to an old map where you wont error anymore. You'll still need to update sooner or later anyway, if you want to ever visit moscovia that is.

I had the same problem actually. It's as simple as updating your Sakaray and if you need one with no problems I can send you mine...well the link to it. *Muah* You better hurry back I'm getting lonely =P

Can't you reset your char position from the CP?
