sure i'll help, but please note krim's suggestions... serious surveys should accommodate both quantitative and qualitative answers.

I understand your wanting to test the waters first, it is a valid and wise option. Please do remember to also formulate what the answers would mean and where it would lead you as well as how you will analyze that data.


What Kind of Video Games do you play?(RTS, MMO stuff like that)
i play all kinds of games, anything that's fun. Sims, Strategy, Puzzle, Adventure, MMO, etc. Currently i play RO mostly (coz of HeRO!!!) with a bit of DoTA (WC3)

How many hours do you play a week?
around 12-18 hrs i think (gets about an hour a day + about 10 hrs on weekends)

What type of Game Systems do you Prefer? (all new Gen and PC is one option 2)
PC!!! (plays with emulators also though, but still prefer PC!!)

How many games do you run through a week? (Included is playing a game then stopping near the end)
welll DoTA is a mod which only last an hour... how do i answer that?
and RO has no "ending" per se... so how?

hard to say... about 10-50, depending on works to do

None of the games I play are run through in less than a week (except for easy civ3 games, there that would be 1-2/week)
