Yeah, it's still easy but the 1 by 1 method I think is put in place to discourage the "easy" source of zeny.
However, I believe switching the the menu options would be an awesome compromise.
It was a "bug" that occurred when the SVN was updated. However, the GMs have more important things to deal with so this has gone unfixed. (At least, I'm 95% sure it was unintentional)
Edit: As per the suggestion >_> I think that every time I go break GNs. If I can't do it in bulk, at least let me Enter-SPam the dialog no one cares about D:

Note:
On iRO, it was 10 at a time.
By the time all the ores are broken in each method, 1 at a time yields more profit, 10 at a time reduces time.
~240 GNs at 10 at a time=1m zeny
~200 GNs at 1 at a time=1m zeny
