Custom dungeon?

I tried creating maps around two years ago or so. I kept buging when I saved the map tiles in the "program" I had, find me a good maping tool and be sure to see lots of nice custom maps/dungeons.

please inform me as well. I've been searching for a good working map maker.

We have the geffen 4 that is sort of a custom dungeon, you have to be a hero to enter and its a mix of the old and new map in there with lots of mvps and stuff.

We also have bio 3-2 in the plans which should be nice.

Overall having more custom dungeons would be nice and hope we do have some eventually, but it's not a priority.

Currently like most server, we use existing maps as basis for a 'custom dungeon,' be it empty ones or a clone of existing ones. If you mean custom dungeons in the form of completely new maps, then it's a bit more rare since most of the non-open source custom maps do charge you for using them, and the ones that are open (like our old Green Prontera, Halloween Prontera) are mostly modifications of an existing map instead.

As for the program itself... I haven't heard of any one that's really that user friendly yet effective myself... but then again, I never really tried looking hard.

I know a guy from eA forums that makes A LOT of maps, he showed me some cities, it's awesome. I'll ask him what he uses then let you know.

Yes, he said BrowEdit, a closed alpha made by Borf, that's probably the best map maker/editor around x_x
To get it you have to send an "application" to Borf himself with your past works on Igun or Platinum(which are other editor I'm looking for too) if possible. Then hope he gives you permission to use it.
I found the program on a download site(hard to find btw) but you can only use it if you're registered with him or you're a cracker.

More updates no map editors soon because I need to sleep ASAP.

EDIT: I just discovered he isn't accepting new applications since january due to a lot of requests. -_-''

We all know about "the Borf thing" on that one ;P Usually those products are sold for real money too (they are quite amazing products though). However even the other editors can be kinda hard to find, and definitely hard to use.
